How long will it take for my Web site to be created?
This depends on how many pages need to be designed, how many features will be implemented, and how quickly content (textual and graphical) is received. Once the proposed design has been approved, it typically takes a matter of weeks to have a site up and running. Ultimately, this depends on how much work is involved.

What is the process for creating a website?
Preliminaries
First is the initial consultation (free) where the scope of the work is defined and an estimate is drawn up. For an estimate, contact bryan. Next, our contract with documented estimate is sent to the client, who then signs and mails back with an initial deposit equal to 50% of the estimate. Once the signed contract and deposit are received, we countersign the contract and mail back to the client.

Stage 1: Design
We send the client a list of questions regarding look & feel, features, imagery, personal style, and set-up a time to discuss the project in detail. This discussion lasts an hour or two, and is done in person or over the phone. Three design options are proposed for consideration.

Stage 2: Construction
After a design is approved, we set up the account and build the site. All files are uploaded to a temporary directory on the client's host account for viewing.

Stage 3: Implementation
Once content is placed and all features are developed the site is tested and optimized for search engine indexing. After all payments have been collected, the Web site goes live and is submitted to major search engines.

Yes, all Web sites are optimized for and submitted to search engines for indexing.

Will you maintain the website?
Yes, for an hourly cost once the site is launched.

How do you charge clients?
All work is charged hourly with a 50% deposit; the remaining balance is due before the Web site goes live.

Who owns the copyright?
bhantman.com owns the copyright for all graphics designed until the final payment is made and the Web site goes live, there upon which the client owns the copyright.
