Launched September 1, 2005 the School site is designed with XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Separate style sheet were developed for screen and print, and additional style are in development for non-traditional devices (such as PDAs and cell phones). The new site was developed with the Web Standards, and has been reviewed and approved by the Web Standards Project Educational Task Force.

Built a Web-stardards version of a news template and online journal for the International Nursing Association of Clinical Simulation Labs.

Built this site for the office of admissions. Site is designed with XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and was launched June 2006.

E-marketing ExampleE-marketing

Created tenplate for taking Web-based press releases to e-mail. Using CSS, XHTML, and tables to ensure proper presentation, this campaign started in April 2006 and has been an effective tool for marketing.

Summer Institute in Nursing Informatics

Created Web site and CD-ROM to complement print publications for the 14th through 16th annual conferences. Included in the project was the development of multiple new headers.

Grant-Funded and Research Sites

Older Adults ModuleLearning Module for Older Adults

Developed Web site to be used by senior citizens to help prevent falls and hip fractures. Development included integration with streaming media and Flash-based quizzes. Usability testing was part of the site's development for an NIH grant.

Now in Phase Two, the grant was extended by the National Institutes for Health, and we are in the process of expanding and editing the site for a three-year research project.
